With a focus on engines designed specifically for the rigours of marine use, it’s no surprise that Suzuki are the go to for many boat anglers in the UK. Suzuki also align well with the sustainability initiatives of the BoatLife Fishing Championship, with their engines all providing reliable, quiet and fuel-efficient performance.
Suzuki were also the first boat engine manufacturer to bring a device to market that removes micro plastics from the sea whilst in use, a device that they are now installing in their new engines. This kind of thinking is exactly what we need from the marine sector, and we are delighted to have brands with our shared sense of values competing in the Championship.
The Suzuki Fishing Team is captained by Will Parkinson of Smart Fishing UK, who will be leading an experienced team on a boat that few will rival for speed, agility and stability. Their ability to reach grounds quicker could prove decisive, if angling was ever that simple!
